We try to use only the highest grade of solid Indonesian teak, well known for its strength, durability & beauty. The best teak is government controlled plantation grown teak. It is ecologically managed to ensure its continuing existence. Teak grows very prosporously in the tropical climates of SouthEastern Asia, with Indonesian teakwood to be the favourite of many because of its beauty & high quality, having the best grain, color & durability.

All our products are easy to assemble, packed with clear instructions, while some items are shipped completely pre-assembled. They are carefully packaged & shipped in heavy duty cardboard cartons for maximum protection, some even crated to ensure that there would not be any damage in transit.

How long will it take for me to receive my teak furniture?
Most items ship via UPS Ground and we will send you a tracking number via email. Please allow 3-5 days for items to leave the warehouse. Ground service usually takes 3-5 days to deliver in the contiguous United States. Therefore, please allow 6-10 business days for delivery of your patio furniture. Oversized items shipped via Curb side freight can take 2-3 weeks.

What if I need my item immediately?
Two day and overnight service is available at an additional charge. Please feel free to contact our customer service department for a quote.

What is Curb Side Freight?
Larger items are shipped via curbside shipping. Delivery will be done by a common carrier truck. These delivery trucks are large and cumbersome, often around 40 ft long. Therefore, your delivery address must have adequate room to maneuver up to your curbside. If you have doubts regarding accessibility for the truck due to hills, narrow or curving streets or location, please call or email us prior to placing your order. Our customer service department will try to help determine if there is likely to be a problem or require additional charges.

The driver is only responsible for delivering the order to your curb ONLY. A delivery appointment is scheduled by the freight company via the phone number you provide in your order. No delivery should be made unless an appointment is set and you must be present to help receive and inspect the packages. Any additional services such as two-man delivery or lift gate service are not included in the price of the freighted item. The cost of these additional services varies from city to city. You may purchase these additional services directly from the freight company if you choose. You will then be responsible for moving your order into your home or business, unpacking the cartons, and setting up the equipment. The freight company is not responsible for set up and installation.

What if my item is damaged during shipping?
Please inspect your merchandise carefully before accepting from the freight delivery company. Examine the boxes carefully for holes and dents and if necessary open the boxes at the curb to inspect the item for damage. If your item shows damage upon receipt from the truck, REFUSE the shipment and call us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you. If there is concealed damage upon opening your shipment, you must call us within 3 days of the receipt of delivery. We will either replace the damaged parts or have a replacement delivered at no expense to you. Any requests for concealed damage after 2 business days of receipt of delivery will be taken, but charges for replacement parts and shipping will be at the expense of the customer.

Do you ship overseas?
We are able to ship some products to Canada and Mexico. Unfortunately, most products cannot be cheaply and safely shipped overseas. Additional heavy duty packaging and shipping rates would be charged. All orders shipping outside of the United States require full payment, in advance, via a TT wire transfer and are noncancelable and nonreturnable.

Typographical Errors
In any event that there is a product listed at (I) an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or (II) with an error in product or pricing information, teakpatiofurnituredirect.com reserves the right to refuse, replace, or cancel any order placed with the incorrect information after confirmation with the purchaser. If your credit card has already been charged for such purchase(s), we will immediately issue you a credit to your account in the amount of the charge.

To prevent credit card fraud, we only ship to the billing address on the credit card. If you wish to have an item shipped to an alternative address, the owner of the credit card must sign and fax back an authorization form, or you may pay by check or money order.
